SILENT AUCTION FUNDRAISER FOR BARRY MOSS

Flying Colours Artists’ Association is proud to partner with Baldonnel School in a fundraising project for Barry Moss, who is suffering from a serious case of pneumonia and will not be receiving a paycheck for all of the days he’s unable to work as an EA with the school district. He missed the deadline to complete his probationary period that would have qualified him to earn sick leave privileges by only 7 days. Barry was admitted to the hospital in FSJ on Dec. 26th and, as of Friday, January 16, is currently in Vancouver at St. Paul’s hospital for perhaps another day when he will return to the FSJ hospital for up to 6 more weeks.

In support of Barry, Flying Colours is holding a SILENT AUCTION with from 9 - 10 original works of art up for bid and displayed at Peace Gallery North beginning Tuesday, January 20th and ending on Saturday, February 7th. There will also be a raffle running concurrently with the auction, featuring one painting. Raffle tickets will be on sale at Baldonnel School and at Peace Gallery North. Images of the works may be viewed on the Baldonnel School website, the Flying Colour’s website and the Peace Gallery North FACEBOOK page by Jan 19th or 20th.

Participating artists include Arlene Blair, Penny Boden, Donna Bozarth, Darby Forest, Mike Kroecher, Frances Obie, Mary Parslow, Judy Templeton and Sandy Troudt. Thank you to contributors and friends for your support on behalf of Barry.
